Mori Teppan Grill in Glendale

My favorite japanese grill, love how they cook the food in front of you with a few tricks,very entertaining and the food is 😋 I always get the shrimp and steak plate been going here for 20 years and Mori is still around and works everyday also lots of celebrity photos with Mori.

My family took me here for a birthday dinner. Mori was such a great host, the staff are friendly, and the food is awesome! Thank you, Mori!

Very entertaining good food but the wait for the check was way to long. We sat there for twenty minutes wondering when it was coming.

Mori serves the habachi of glory. Eating here will never leave you feel sorry. I enjoyed feasting on their culinary story.

This is a staple of Glendale, been around for years, and every celebrity you can imagine has been there. Mori is there always ready to welcome you, and the food is top notch. They seem to give a better portion than some of their popular competitors, so we love them for that. Nice atmosphere, good food, cant go wrong.

Just as good as Benihana with a much more reasonable price.

Teppanyaki by one of the original chefs, it's a little old and small but the food is excellent

A pretty well known place amongst a certain crowd. Often overlooked due to its location. Great dining entertainment and definitely great food. Bring your date, spouse, family and friends. Surprisingly ample seating. They offer more than just food off the grill.

This place is great! Good prices, big dishes and the staff members are always very nice.

Not so great. Food did not have a good taste. They serve vegetable soup instead of miso soup. Salad dressing was not great. The vegetables that come with every meal consited of a lot of onions and some zucchini.It was just ok. Nothing special. Way Over priced. Don't think I will return.

This place has such a personal family feel about it, Mori is always around to greet us with a smile. Chefs are really talented and entertaining. Ingredients are always fresh, steak is tender, shrimp and chicken are spot on. We've been coming here for years and will keep coming back!

I adore this restaurant! They serve first-rate meals, their menu is rich, The chef in that spot is well trained, I like very much trying all their food. The food is consistently of high qualtity, the service towards the clients is good. I visit often this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it to all.

This place is great - about as close as you can get to the original! The owner and namesake is always so gracious and always squeezes you in at a table if it's possible. This definitely a gem with a devoted local crowd.

Mori's never disappoints!! The food is very delicious. The atmosphere is great. Mori (the owner) is always there. He is a very friendly man. He takes pride in his restaurant and he takes the time to get to know his customers. My family has been going there for over 25 years. I definitely recommend Mori's, best dinner in Glendale!

Mori Teppan grill is a long-standing teppanyaki restaurant in north Glendale. There is a big parking lot and many tables, which makes it a great place to bring a group. The staff is friendly and accomodating and the teppan chefs are entertaining. They have a full bar, which is great too. The meat and seafood were high quality and the portions are very generous!

I had the pleasure meeting the owner of the restaurant he s awesome .the food was superb and great portion ..it come with delicious salad,soup and shrimps if order with entree ..the guy that cook for us was great as well friendly and funny ..come to this place is u never been here ..highly suggest it and some famouse celebrities has come here ..

Food is always great, I had not been here in years! We came on NYE and the service was subpar. I was a bit disappointed at the servers bad attitude. I give it a 4 only because of the service. Food quality was great and Mori, the owner, was so sweet and kind.

Love the food here. You come here half for the show which was great! The food is of course really fresh and cooked right on the grill in front of you. The service is really good! The prices are not bad for the amount of food you get. It's a little place with like 5 tables in the general area and I think a few private booths for larger parites.

My first visit and I enjoyed the show. I had a chicken and shrimp combo that was very good.

Great Japanese steak house. Typical show at the table. Love the fact that the owner greets everyone. Nice touch.

Started by the original chef of Benihana family oriented small hole in the wall. We love coming here. Make reservations for the weekends but we usually just drop by midweek. The owner Mori will get to know you overtime.

Best teppan in town

Really good food and they have a full bar, which is always a plus in my book! The chef we had was awesome and did a great job with the food. Everything was delicious! Very good staff and attentive. If you don't like the salad ask for the soup, it was soo good and simple.

My wife and I are hibachi regulars, and this place is fantastic. For fans of Benihana, this is even better! Great food and great service. Will be returning soon!

Wonderful little independent Teppan restaurant. Food was fantastic, drinks were reasonably priced and the chef was a good as he was funny. I hope to go back soon.

Always delicious, the menu and quality never change

Mori San was there to and shower us to our table. The food quality was good and ingredients were fresh. I think depending on which chef you get, you get a different type of show. We saw other chefs preform pretty cool tricks where as the one at our table only hit the basics, and wasn't really enthusiastic about it either. The Onion volcano lasted roughly 2 secs before the fire went out whereas other tables had. A full blown eruption. Needless to say a bit disappointing at our table. Regardless food quality was good and. Based on what we saw at other tables would recommend this place to others.

This place was a pleasant surprise! It was in the corner so was a little difficult to find but, the search was worth it! The staff was super friendly upon entering and I was seated pretty quickly (although I’d recommend a reservation). It was a Japanese steakhouse, think Benihana’s but less hype more attentive! The chef was skilled, he performed his tricks while making the food and I must say it was delicious! The pricing was perfect for the quality and the food! I will visit again

Absolutely perfect from the time we walked in the door to the moment we left. Food was scrumptious. Super Fun show watching all the food being cooked. Atmosphere was fabulous and very friendly staff. Wonderful Dinner :-)

Mori was the originator of the Benihana Teppanyaki Menu. He uses quality ingredients and doesn’t cut corners.

Our family loves this place! We’ve been coming here for many years! Amazing food, great service and the chefs always put on an interesting show. Our kids enjoy it so much! This place is great for any kind of celebration. Mori is a wonderful host. He always makes us feel special.

I love coming here. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly. A reservation is always a good idea just Incase they are packed.
